Flying Squirrels

This is a Flying Squirrel. 

All Flying Squirrels aren't capable of flight the same way as Birds and Bats, 

they can glide because of their Gliding Membranes. 

That's a Flying Squirrel from 

my favorite Short Film, "Legend of the Forest" 

directed by Osamu Tezuma, 

and this is Icarus, Nemo's Pet Flying Squirrel from 

"Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland". 

Icarus was not a Rat, he was a Flying Squirrel.
