This is a Book called
"Egon"
that I got it on Mail on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
"Egon" written by Larry Bograd
the Writer of "Felix in the Attic"
and it was illustrated by Dirk Zimmer
the Illustrator of "Felix in the Attic" and "In the dark dark
Room and other scary Stories"
and it came out on Wednesday, September 24, 1980.
This Story is about a Coati named Egon who
lives with his Family in Ecuador in South America.
This is Egon went on top of the big Hill and looked out over the Country of Ecuador.
Egon saw a Capybara walked into a Lake down there and she was
going to the other Side.
There's a Pig right behind Egon and he told Egon not to enter
and asked him that's a Jungle.
Egon saw 4 Monkeys as he entered the Jungle.
Egon grabbed the Rope and his walking Stick fell into the Jaws
of one of the Crocodiles in a Ecuadorian Swamp.
That's Amanda, she was a white Coati.
Egon asked Amanda what she was doing in a Swamp and
she was a Rope Walker and she was practicing.
These are the Animals of South America with Egon.
Mice, a Sloth, a Monkey, a Toucan, a Pelican,
a Colombian small-eared Shrew, a Rhinoceros (Rhinos don't live in South
America,
they live in Africa and Asia),
Iguanas, a Wooly Mouse Opossum and her Baby,
and different Birds as Egon gave his Drawing to Amanda.
Amanda told Egon to stay with them and Egon couldn't do anything and
Amanda
think he drew beautiful Pictures.
That's a Poster on a Tree of the Sunset Show
that Egon got out his special Paints to make it
and he wrote a Message to his Family and gave a Message to
the Pelican in order to deliver it to his Family.
Egon and the Capybara watched and waited until the Pelican disappeared
in the Sky before returning to Amanda and his new Friends.
Ooh I like the pictures, it is so mysterious
ReplyDeleteI loved this book a lot as a kid; I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. The illustrations are wonderful.
