These are the Bats in the
Cave from Jetter Mars Episode called
"The Samurai Robot from the seventh Year of the
Tenpō era".
Jetter Mars used lights
on his Eyes to search for
Tamao and the light wake the Bats and
fly.
There were lots of Bats
flying through the Cave.
Jetter Mars was
frightened when the Bats were on his
Way while they're flying through the Cave.
Bats are flying Mammals that came out at Night because they're nocturnal.

That's silly that Jetter Mars is afraid of bats, they are just small animals, they can't hurt a robot. I guess he was just startled
